When I was searching for the right theme for this blog, I threw a couple of options up on my Facebook timeline and asked for input. Obviously, what you see here was the winning choice, however, the theme didn’t come with the cozy pictures that made it so appealing. So, since the theme is missing its autumn snow, hot chocolate, and good book inspiring photos, which two people in particular found enticing, I thought I’d try to make up for it. So, to my sister, Esther, and my friend, Danielle, here are a couple of my favorite “cozy up by a fire or under a warm blanket” pics, just for you:
And now for the Cocoa/Tea….
Combine the following in a large mug:
2 tsp of raw sugar
1 Tbsp Cocoa (I used a “cocoa mix” that someone gave us, but it’s pretty much straight up cocoa. 🙂 )
1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground ginger
splash of vanilla extract
1-3 bags of black tea to your taste
Heat 1 cup water and 1 cup milk just to boil, pour over tea bag(s) and dry ingredients, whisk together, cover and allow to steep for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Top with whip cream.
SO YUMMY!
Love you two! Hope you find a few minutes for some book, blanket, and cocoa time!
What a beautiful post! And those pics… You know how partial I am to snow, and a good book? I’m all in.
I love you sweet friend!
